Since 2004, Dan has focused his practice entirely on the representation of participants in state and federal tax credit transactions, including representation of lenders in leveraged transactions, tax credit investors in leveraged and unleveraged transactions and community development entities in obtaining and utilizing allocations of new markets tax credits.
Prior to concentration of his practice in this area, Dan’s practice involved the representation of participants in financial transactions including debt and equity offerings, tender offers, reorganizations and recapitalizations, structured finance and secured transactions, the formation and structure of strategic alliances and mergers and acquisitions. He has represented sponsors, investors, lenders and borrowers in structured finance and secured lending transactions.
