Blake Mason focuses his practice on financing transactions involving new markets tax credits. Blake has represented lenders, investors, community development entities and borrowers in closing new markets tax credit transactions for a broad range of projects, including community centers, educational facilities, health centers, manufacturing plants, and mixed-use buildings. He has also worked on a number of new markets tax credit transactions that have involved twinned historic tax credit structures, combined state and federal new market tax credit structures and the use of various other federal, state and local subsidies.
In addition to his experience in closing new markets tax credit transactions, Blake has experience closing transactions involving renewable energy tax credits and working on modifications and exits of new market tax credit transactions.
